can anyone put a name to the song at the start of series 1 csi. i know the song at the start of series 2 is "who am i" by The Who. the whole of the song "who am I" is on the 1st dvd of the second series as an extra on the dvd and the tune at the start of series one isnt part of that song. so my question is WTF is the song that introduces all 23 episode of series one. It is the region 2 version of the box set BTW.

Absolutley top notch show, but I have always felt that the theme tune "Whoooooo aaare you, do do, do do" never really suited the programme. Oh well.
Top programme and its on loads, channel five and UK Living, if you've never seen it, it only takes a week to get into.

Have to disagree with you there hail hail- the tune was spot on. Often CSI are asking that question, and the frantic, orgasmic ending of the tune really suits the fast cutting of the title images. The CSI Miami one is crap though... its just another Who song with no relevance to the show's subject matter. And why does that woman dress like she's on a tea-break from the lap-dancing club?

Bubba - The song on CSI Miami is 'Won't get fooled again' by the Who and i thought it worked OK
BTW
I got the first series of CSI on DVD and the Who tune 'Who are you' is not on the DVD's, perhpas a licencing decision but a b@stard anyway as it is such a good tune!

Fair points Bubba, but I just think although the lyrics suit the show, the tune doesn't. Can't really explain it but it just doesn't sit right.
Could be that I get so excited cause my favourite program is starting that I want the intro to end and the programme to begin!!

still don't answer my question chaps. i know the who play "who are you" in season2, but its the jingley bit that intros all of season 1, what song is that part of. errily effective
