Wink

My mother who's 76 is always going on at me for my love of fast cars so it was therefore quite amusing when my father told me today that last week she was zapped by a gatso doing 52 in a 40 on a dual carriageway.
Of course her view was she was driving safely and that the fine points are a toal injustice.

Really bugs her though that shes got points and I havent.

Chip.

I'm guessing 76 or 75 in the case of a recent Birthday

Talking

yep, I can totally go with that
My mother inlaw is always worrying about us speed wise when we had the scoob. She got done, not once but TWICE on the same stretch of road for doing 40mph in a 30mph on consecutive weeks in a Corolla!
Fair enough, not residential, just a dying Ovaltine factory but its given us sooooo much ammunition

Blimey! A 76 yr old 20% over the speed limit! Yes, you should be proud

Most 76 yr olds I know stopped driving at least 10 years ago...

I can find you a 74 (ish) year old who's planning to sail across the Atlantic again.

And my stepfather, who moans about my speeding quite a bit was also Gatso'd last week... 36 in a 30. Not saying too much, in case I get VASCAR'd on my way home today

You should be proud of your mother,Chip.May be not for speeding but for being your mother. If your mum who's 76 yrs old finds it unfair to be zapped when she was doing 52 in 40,that agrees with many of the people on scoobynet anyway.(most of scooby owners have expressed that on scoobynet at times)
She sounds like a contemporary woman, not someone stuck in 1970s or so!
