cost of dentistry - gold or white crowns on teeth

anyone had a gold/white crown fitted lately? i got a gold one fitted 5 years back for about 150 quid but my dentist just quoted me 350 for another one......price of gold she said

I had a porcelain one two years ago £375 and a gold one this year £250 because i aint paying another £375.00!!!

had 2 x porcelain ones done this year. £120.00. But not here in UK. Istanbul. Dentist surgery was state of art and top job.

Knees done afew years ago.... Saved loads . Had a better hospital than most private ones here in UK. Wife is having her eyes done in october..i am back to dentist in December. he reccons the quality of my fillings etcdone here in UK is basic.........

I do spend a hell of a lot of time there.... Its just like the uk!!! Good bad and ugly...... but when they are rich..... they walk all over the UK rich.... the quality of 4 of the private hospitals in Istanbul is fantastic.
Anyway when was the last time any of you saw a true white english doctor!!!

A friend of my wife.Who is a senior NHS admin or something and who also is turkish.... (Wife not me) is having dinner with us......... She is thinking about starting a business for operations etc over in Istanbul....
I am self employed so cannot afford to waste time with the NHS..
