Quick question...just moved and not allowed to put Sky dish on new house and don't have cable...so am I stuffed for digital tv?

Still got the box for sky from previous house, so any other options, mate says you can put dish in loft, sounds like bollox to me

I dont know about the dish but when I moved into my house I found the aerial in the loft bolted to the rafters, it works fine and is still there 11 years later, so you never know, try it

dish needs line of sight and will not work in the loft. you may get limited luck pointing it through a window though.

you can also get that 99 quid digital tv thing where you get the free bbc channels and sky news etc - bit better than nothing and it is a one off fee.

You could always put a dish on the side of the garden shed, plenty of customers were I used to work did that to get round the problem .

Cheers for the help.

New house has no garden, shed, nuclear shelter or anything else to attach dish too

I have a balcony, any chance of using that...I know sky will only attach dish to suitable wall, can I buy one independantly? I have the box.

Please help...terrestrial telly is driving me insane

http://www.brymar.co.uk/acatalog/Online_Catalogue_Satellite_Dishes_24.html

Look at the LX200 you can get sky without a dish

Only problem its about 1.5 Meter long but if thats no good look how cheap a normal is.

Need any info how to manually set up a dish let me know.

I moved into my house 3 years ago , just 2 days after it was finished being built. I was also told "cant alter the front of the house, wall ,sky dish etc..for first two years"

F**K EM..

my dish was up within the week , never had any comeback
