Hmm... doubt I'll make this one, same - have to see about next year though.

Astraboy - as someone else said, the old Tribals were legendary, big tents in a field, I think the ones I went to had about 8 or 9 large tent based arenas, and various types of music catered for, infact some of the names you've listed where present as I recall.
Must admit, its all a big vague, too much to drink each time!
Just remember it was an awesome event, used to go with a bunch of mates, always someone else driving (thankfully).
Think they were over Oxford way - but as I said, it's a bit vague now, as they were in '96/'97.
Have a good one!

Aaah, the memories . . . . World Dance (Lydd), Lazerdrome (Peckham), Vision (Popham airfield), Obsession, Fantazia (everywhere ) . . . in the process on converting all of my old tapes and videos to digital format at the mo. Have to admit to still listening to them in the car regulally

As Dunk says they were run by Universe (Paul Surey) out of Bristol. The first Universe raves were held near Bath on top of the big hill by jnc18 on the M4.(anyone go to these?) That was the first time I heard Sasha who was pretty much unknown at the time.
Can't remember why now but I always used to successfully blagg a guest pass
