A Level Results
#1
Was having a discussion with some mates on Saturday evening, various ages from 37 to 44 and we came to the conclusion that standards must surely be slipping. When we were kids it was unusual for anyone to take more than 3 A'levels and then to get A grades was pretty bloody tough!
But now kids seem to be able to take 5 A' levels and pass them all at A grade (some of them anyway). We couldn't believe that kids are really that much brighter than they were back then.
As for GSCE's it appears that most people seem to be writing these off all together.
So is the 2.1 degree the new equivalent to 3 good A'level passes of years gone by?
