Us slang from the hip hop world
Bling bling refers to the glinting of diamonds and jewels......now applied to anything pimp looking.

No she isn't. Her mother was Scottish and her father's side of the family have a lot of German blood. She's not excatly 100% English

First time I heard "peeps" was Harry Enfield's Stavros - the kebab shop owner with his own brand of colloquial English - character on Channel 4 in 1988. "Hello matey peeps". I'm prepared to be corrected on this if anyone has earlier examples.

Same thing here in the USA except it's an SUV instead of a car - really funny to see some huge truck set on delicate-looking fancy wheels. Low-profile tyres on a supposedly off-road vehicle, now that's good for a laugh.
