Just searched on Dr Alban and apparently he had a single in 1990 called No Coke. That might have been it. No damn speakers on my PC at work tho! Can someone go to here and see if the no coke song contains any of the lyrics that I loosely remembered ?

Now this is a real long shot, but can anyone give me any leads to this tune:
I heard it in various nightclubs in Thailand in the early spring on 1992. It was quite cheesy but had a catchy bass-line. The song seemed to have some sort of anti drugs theme and the male singer sounded west indian/jamaican. The only lines I can remember where something like:
Cocaine will slow your brain and extacy will mash [you up? yor life?]
and later on something like
No hash, hash, no heroin...
Not much to go on I know, but if it sparks any memories, let us know. I don't remember hearing it when I got back to the UK.
