My Mate is in a band called the Cooper Temple Clause who have been in the charts (No 20 I think) but arn't played that often on the Radio etc.
They are starting to get big now so would be interesting to know if anyone listens to them??

Another vote for the cooper temple clause.. Really liked their first album.. They've got a new one out next month too...

Cooper Temple Clause get played a lot on Xfm 104.9 you may just about get that down in Reading, Ive got the 1st album, very good too, where do they get the name from?
Ian try The Delays, Janes addiction are back with a good album, if you have sky listen to Xfm (one of the radio stations) Lots of decent stuff and new bands played there not the sh1te R1 and Virgin play

Funkii - I seem to recall they just came up with the name or it was a colaboration of a few names they thought of. (Its a bit embrassing not knowing really)
Sounds like I am going to have to tune the Car Radio into XFM some more now then!!!

Their first LP is a lot easier to listen to than the second one. So buy it!
It's a shame they split up, they were really good. Although I doubt they could have bettered the likes of, copper girl, beautiful day, alright ma & pirouette.
Other bands that are in the same vein I like are..
3rd Eye Blind
Sister Hazel
Vertical Horizon
And many more in the same genre. I'm quite picky with my music

They have recently reformed - I saw them recently at G2 in Glasgow

Also check out the new Longview LP, it's fantastic
And if you like the thrills, listen to Virgin radio, they are fookin obsessed with them
. I turned the radio on twice to be greeted by them today, then turned it back off just as quickly
