London?

I believe I am going to be offered a job in London, and was wondering how long it would take by tube from Liverpool street to Fleet street (The Courts)?
Your advice is appreciated!

5-10 minutes of crowds of people like you`ve never seen!
I`ve been working in Calgary for 9 months now and I`m amazed at how quiet this place is. Just think, Canada has a population of around 30,000,000. The British Isles has a population of around 60,000,000 and fits into Alberta around 6 times!
I think London is around the 10,000,000 mark now so get ready for the rush-hour and good luck!

Trying to persuade my other half that Canada would be a suitable honymoon location, instead of sitting on some bloody beach somewhere!
You guys are very lucky to live somewhere so beautiful.

Thanks Guys!
Canada is a great place to live. Even better to visit (You appreciate the splendor when you first see it)
So whats the rat race like in London? DO you see much crime while using the tube?

DJ,
Canada is a wonderful country to live and work in. I can`t think of a better honeymoon location to be honest. Lots and lots to see and do. The weather is fantastic in the summer (been 30+ for the past 3 weeks or so) but harsh in the winter (was -28 when I got here) but water skiing in the summer and skiing in the winter can`t be beat.
Plus petrol is around 23p a litre at the moment and a Mazda RX8 costs about 18 grand sterling, I`ll be sad to leave in November.

If you allow 5-10 minutes, you'll be late. I'm currently working in the Strand (can either get off at Embankment or Charing Cross). I've stopped getting the Circle line, because although there's no changes to do, it's only every third train that is a Circle line one so you can be waiting around for 10 minutes before you see one.
I've started going Central line to Tottenham Court Road, then Northern to Charing Cross. On both of them I can get the first train that turns up (providing it's not full ), which means I rarely have to wait more than 2 minutes.
OTOH, there's less people on the Circle line trains.

Start at Calgary and either hire a motor or take the slow train from Banff or Jasper through the Rockies to Vancouver. Can't be beat. Vancouver is one cool city. The people are amongst the nicest I have ever come across on my travels and the city itself is soooo like england in climate. BUT the Rockies....WOW ....I cried ! They are so beautiful. Makes you realise there must be someone up/out there who is ultimately "in charge". Try the Athabasca Glacier too........ awe inspiring.
Failing all that, ask Markus about Toronto.... its a fine city in its own right and if you travel up north from there , right up Yonge Street in fact, you'll see scenery to rival any in Europe .

5-10 minutes on the Circle and District line to Temple station.
Either that or get the No.11 or 23 bus, goes straight past the Royal Courts of Justice.

You will rarely see any actual crime on the tube because 99% of it is pick-pocket crime.
You'll get caught up in the rat race as everyone does. You'll lose your manners and patience, and develop the me, me, me, get out of my fukcing way attitude that most have here.
And you'll find yourself walking at double your normal speed everywhere
Shouldn't this be in Non-Scooby Related?
