West end ,yesterday.

Warden told them he would also issue further tickets if they where still there in 20min. Fire officer said it was difficult to explain to him as too much smoke!!!

Tickets cancelled after Major complaint.

Thats why I believe that they should only employ wardens who Speak excellent English and have a basic understanding of a modern society.

Sat with wife today in Thai Restaurant in Soho...

Warden comes along and issues ticket complete with Clamping notice on car................

About 10 of us in the restaurant are dying with laughter... the car was already clamped!!!

Just goes to show.....How thick you need to be in order to be a warden!!

Typical of the Monkeys.

No he is a very clever warden as Soho is Westminster Council and the warden issuing the most tickets wins a brand new car as a bonus. the runner up gets a foreign holiday etc!

A fore runner of the traffic cops i bonus system for speeding tickets i suspect.

Even though we have a letter from the council saying we can park outside our boathouse while on an a lifeboat shout, and displaying a massive 'Emergency Lifeboat Call' sign, some of our crew still got tickets. Swift call to the local paper and the wardens are still getting it in the neck for it

Typical of Westminster's rats.

They're sly, cunning b@stards.

Stupid, too!

Talking

A few years ago, I parked my car in a car park in Stratford-Upon-Avon, and went off to the ticket machine. The closest one was just out of sight, and I had to wait for a few other people to get their tickets before I could get mine.

As I wandered back to my car, I saw two people with yellow tabbards having a good look through the front windows. I went up to them and explained that I'd only been away for a minute or two, and had just bought a ticket.

"Oh, that's OK," one of them said. "We were just checking that one hadn't fallen out of the windscreen and fallen on the floor."
Apparently, they were trying to work out if a scrap of paper in the passenger footwell was a valid ticket!

Don't know too many wardens who would go to such lengths.........
