I watched it first time round as well.

Funniest bit was when that kid with his woolly had pulled tight over his head was talking about mussels and why he didn't like them. I can't remember the exact words, but he saying that it's because they were alive and he didn't like things alive... oh, and they have beards (said while stroking his chin)... PMSL...

Did you see the bit at the begining when Jamie was trying to make some posh sort of Cheese on toast? I just *knew* that wasn't going to work out... I half expected the toaster to eject the stuff onto the floor...

Havent laughed so long in ages. This program is about Jamie Oliver choosing 15 kids on the dole and training them up to be proper chefs.

Yesterdays repeat was asking them all questions.

Person 1. "I love all types of food, Ive tried everything".
Interviewer: "Ok so what are some of these dishes?"
Person 1: "Pie & Chips, Sunday Roast, Pizza...." PMSL

Person 2: "I love pasta - eat it all the time".
Interviwer: "How do you cook it?
Person 2: "Urm, In a pan?"

Interviewer: "What kinda pasta dishes can you cook"
Person 3: "Well my favourite is pasta, with some cheese on top then stick it in the microwave".

I bet poor Jamie wish he never even thought this idea up!

Simon.

Seen that lastnight too...was pi$$ing myself at those interviews.

Dont think any of them should be let into a kitchen! Far too dangerous.

Some friends recently went to the restaurant.

They were taking bookings for 3 months time, my friends were told what day and what time they could have their table!!!

3 course meal, 2 bottles of wine and some nice bread (apparently) for £150!!

Forgot to mention that the £150 included an 'optional' 12.5% service charge!
