sitting in traffic after leaving Ikea(Wembley) earlier, traffic going the other way sets camera off. If there are 3 lanes and the camera goes off who is going to get the ticket ?
Also what the hell are 'pollution control valves' that you see at the side of the roads ?
Maybe stupid questions but I've no idea, and just wondered if any of you lot would know the answers. (spose I'll get move to muppets !!! ah well)

Three lanes, one camera? Im assuming all three lanes have horizontal white stripes?
In that case, the car that has travelled the most distance between flashes. The gap between flashes is .5 seconds, so whichever car is calculated to have covered enough distance. Possibly 1 or all 3 could be speeding.

That's correct each lane will have the lines a little bit spaced out as the angle of the camera is not pointing in a straight line
I know that camera and almost everytime i go past it someone gets flashed

pollution control vales? must be something to do with an interceptor tank (seperates all the oil and petrol from the rainwater before it gets discharged into the drains)

Of course, if there is e.g. a van or a lorry between a speeding car and the camera, it would make it a bit hard to read the car number plate, I would imagine . . .
I've seen people who deliberately use artics as camera blockers in a certain 50 limit dual carriageway near me. Can only guess they get away with it.
