Idea for commical type of book ??

Hi guys an girls,
I have a great idea for one of those annual type of books, sort of thing you buy as a Christmas present,
Who does one need to talk to in the first place to get an idea if it has mileage in it ?
Publisher, writer etc, any idea's greatly appreciated, and no i wont post the idea on here funnily enough !!!
I wont do the spelling for it as we all know mine is sh#te !!

Gives you some ideas of what to do and prepare and where to send it. Might be of some use but wouldn't know as I've not done it myself
