Having just driven thro a speed camera, one I might add that I know about while chatting and mind not concentrationg 100%, which is the best detection device available?

Apart from going around with a .22 rifle and shooting them all

Speed cameras are designed to withstand shotgun blasts, so I'm not certain a .22 rifle will do much damage. I recommend an M2 .50 cal machine gun

I have a RoadPilot... excellent, tells me everytime I come up to a speed camera just incase I am doing just as you were. Gives me a warning of 0.7 miles (distance I pre-set)
