Question

I want to try and find out who a telephone # belongs to !
It has appeared on my bill several times and at very early hours of the morning. More strangely no-one was at the house at the time the calls were made as we were away on business.

0905 4190301

Any ideas ??

09054 190301
Premium Rate 'any tariff or fixed fee'
Section: The Premium Rate Services Range (Convention B9)

Operator: EEscape Limited

A table of the code allocations for numbers in The Premium Rate Services Range (Convention B9) starting 0905 is available

Number 09054 190301 is potentially valid.

Oftel records show that numbers starting 09054 19 are allocated (operator unknown) until 10ppm. Note that due to number portability if an individual number has moved to a different operator this information is not publically available. Notes: PRS 'any tariff or fixed fee'. Oftel's last recorded change for this number range was in 10 Digit Numbers.

BT charge for calls to this code at their p9 rate (Calls to Premium Rate Services). It is 8.510p per minute (ex VAT), or approximately 10p per minute (inc VAT) at all times.

Then look here and scroll down to EESCAPE Ltd and see if anything rings a bell. EESCAPE Ltd

Other than that, no idea.

Stealth dialer does sound likely. If you do have a PC and modem, get Spybot installed and do a full check. Sometimes these dialers are clever and won't allow themselves to be deleted. Spybot, can defeat most of them, so it is worth a try.
