I have to disagree, its the only thing that has ever made me laugh so hard and out loud.
Have any of you watched long enough to see the Mel B impression or Michael Jackson? I defy you not to have laughed at those....
If that isn't funny what is???

ive seen the bit with michael jackson and a small clip of Mel B...and i still didnt laugh.
i did have a little giggle at Lorraine Kelly the other week (in the 2 minutes we saw) with her growler.
but other than that...i really just dont get it.
avid merrion can be funny but hes not enough to make me watch the whole show.
i just wanted to see what everyone else thought seeing as theres a WE LOVE BO SELECTA thread every week.

It's probably one of those shows like Vic Reeves' Big Night Out and even Monty Python which works for some people and doesn't for others. Personally, I've never really found Bo Selecta funny, but that's just my taste.
One of the better comedy shows on at the moment is Dead Ringers. Mind you, even that was better on the radio than TV.

The jury is still out for me.
I have seen a few clips and was indifferent. Then I caught some of the 100 best selling singles programme on Saturday night, where he was introducing it using the different characters - in particular Craig David. After that I couldn't get "proper bo" out of my head!
Saying that someone got me the DVD for my birthday, but when I watch it I am not sure which way I will go on it.

hmm, Dead Ringers
Must be a age/generation gap thing, but I think that's boring as hell. Didn't it come from Radio 4 think that says it all really
Some of the stuff on Bo Selecta does wear thin after a while (how many more erections will the bear have) and he was an annoying to$$er on TOTP, but it's still one of the few TV shows that's made my stomach hurt from laughing so much. Best watched with a few m8's and some beer

Dead Ringers does not translate well to TV. I enjoyed it in the car driving home from work on Radio4 though. Agree with MarkO that some Radio4 6:30 comedy can be very funny. Think the Unthinkable, I'm Sorry I Haven't a Clue and (yes) Just a Minute spring to mind as being very good entertainment.
Those who don't 'get' Bo Selector have lost touch with their funny bone IMO. Or as Basil Fawlty once said "You people have absolutely no sense of humour, do you?"

Bo Selecta makes me cry with laughter.
His Elton John is great.
"get out of my way, or I will BUM you to death"
Each to their own to what we find funny.
