So its dirt cheap, clean and cool. Work shouldnt be a problem and house cost the same as a car in the UK!!!

Luke,

We have 40+ South Africans working as contractors and permies at my work here in Scotland. It's a fantastic place, but they all left for mroe or less the same reasons.

Oh and they're not all white conservatives either

100% of them came because they believed they were guaranteed a job here - they're all in IT in some shape or form.

I don't think their currancy is very stable right now.

Cape Town is a lot better than Johaneseburg

It depends what part of Cape Town
Most places in the world have good and bad spots

My physiotherapist comes from Cape Town and she told me it's the place to go if you're a single guy as the women outnumber the men 7 to 1 and most of the men there are gay so even more choice!

(My flight's booked for next week...........)
