Hi,
Can anyone recommend a courier (or other means) of sending a 10kg+ parcel. Doesn't need to be overnight, just a reasonable cost.
Thanks,
Stefan

Andy,
The only part of the Post Office that will collect are ParcelForce.
I humphed a 25kg parcel down to my local main PO this afternoon. Cost me £12.56 to send (not next day) including £500 insurance.
I was told that they couldn't take the parcel (the postman ain't allowed to lift anything above 11kg ). I was told that I'd need to drop it into the local depot or arrange for ParcelForce to collect it. She said she'd ask ParcelForce for instructions on what to do, so she disappeared to make a call .....
..... 15mins later she comes back and tells me one Manager says it's OK to leave and good old posty will pick it up, but another says no he's not allowed.
Since my local depot is on my way back to work, I opted to deliver it myself.
So, if it's heavy use ParcelForce. If it's not, you could just take it down to your local and let them sort it.
