All this talk about suing McDonalds for being a porker, suing the council for being unable to walk in a correct fashion etc etc etc

Fukcing 4rse!!! Its so pathetic to watch people do this, thats like saying Im a complete fukcing muppet who has no control over my actions and need to be spoon fed throughout my entire fukcing life because I am completely inept at making rational thoughts and/or behaviour.
oooooo gets my goat
eating McDonalds all mny life made me fat, no shyt sherlock, what did you expect, also, try to eat a reasonable sized mcd`s, not a super sized munter burger with extra (5 extra!!) chips.

sorry, got wound up and had to go outside, same goes for these people who sue the local council for falling over and hurting themselves.
learn to walk in a straight line, look where your going and if you do happen to fall over, get up, dust yourself down and carry on about your business hoping nobody saw you.
not hard is it (apparently it is)
theres a family oop northshire who have got 11 seperate compo claims in on local council FFS

So it gets your goat then peanuts!

Agree this whole fast food thing is a joke, none of the chains have *ever* claimed their products were low-fat. Where will it end, someone will murder someone and claim they shouldnt have been allowed to buy a gun!

It ***** me right off too - the idea that people do not have the self control to stop themselves.

Speeding produces an adrenaline rush, and releases endorphins in the brain... This is addictive, surely?

In that case, we should start a class action against subaru for producing thrilling cars that mean we are putting our lives in danger by driving fast, and certainly have them pay any fines that we accrue for their irresponsibility...

Couldn't agree more. I know of a compensation claim against my local hospital.

Mum wasn't supervising her kid whilst she sat in A&E. Kid messes around in some swing doors. Kid breaks arm in doors. Mum sues hospital for design of doors. Mum gets compensation.

FFS - keep your bloody kid under control instead!

yep i agree , this no win no fee bollocks has got to stop !! i blame the courts and the insurance companys . the courts will have to begin to show some common sense and kick the most frivolous claims out , and the insurance firms will have to fight some of the claims instead of just settling out of court . in the bussiness i'm in we are wide open for claims such as this and am actually in the middle of one right now , a women tripped up and caused her friend to trip and is trying to claim for loss of earnings etc , the thing is the claim is from aug 2001 , she only claimed in feb 2003 , didn't report it to any of our staff and didn't got to hospital but we are still in the middle of fighting it , it's absolutley ridiculous !!!!!!!!!!!!!!

ooooh no, I just broke a nail typing this!

Right, thats it, I'm sueing scoobynet!

Seriously though, It is just rediculous, Why can these people take responsibility for their actions and misfortunes. Fair enough if they walk into an establishment and a chandelier falls on their head, but some of these claims are just rediculous.

Just remembered, the outpatient appointment cards, in the hospital I work at, actually has an advert printed on the back for one of those 'no win, no fee' solicitors!

My boy was watching the Simpsons last night and I remember smiling when Homer was signing in for a hospital op. The nurse handed him a form to sign and Homer asked what it was. Nurse said something like "Nothing to worry about Mr Simpson - it's simply a form that says if you die as a result of gross negligence on our part then you agree not to sue!!!"

Read something shocking in the paper the other day about a guy (****) who is inside for murder. He spent some time in a secure hospital (why bother, just let the ***** die... slowly ). Anyway, while he was in there he headbutted a nurse and broke his nose.

He is sueing the nurse at the taxpayers expense because; "the nurse should have moved out of the way", and the guy ended up hurting his head!

Did anyone watch the Money Programme last night?

MaccyD's may have it's faults, but that "hot shot"
lawyer John Banzhaf spouted such crap it is scary to think how mad the world is turning

According to him, it is not enough for MacDonalds and the like to provide information about the food's nutritional value via leaflets (maybe because those fat slobs who eat nothing but junk food probably can't read) - oh no, Mr Big Shot wanted staff to walk up and down the queue with loudhailers shouting "burgers are full of fat, just like your *****"!!!!

However, i think that i have the perfect solution. McDs should install seats that can only take backsides up to a certain size. As a starting point, make it just one size smaller than Mr. Banzhaf - as he wasn't the trimmest lawyer in the trough

thats all every company thinks about !! as far as the fast food chains go , they don't force lard ***** to eat it , i don't see them outside with weapons forcing people to eat !! ooo but the temptation is too much , and now they say it's addictive !! try exercise and get addicted to that , that's my view . it's not the food companys that **** me off , its the lazy t&*ts who winge all the time .

Here's an Idea !!

Junk food.. don't buy.. eat healthy.. junk food company goes out of business.. less lardy ****.. Job done!

If people didn't buy this ****e there would not be a problem!

STOP PASSING THE BUCK TO SOMEONE ELSE.

Your life, live as you see fit and don't moan.

That's my attitude anyway

and my 2p
