Hello
The original infodisk allowed you to do that. And you can "obtain" it by searching around. As it must be 6 years out of day, I wouldn't think it would be much use though.
Apart from that, not that I know of. I've searched around for places that can do it to no avail.
Steve.

Ring the number, say they have won £200 in a prize draw of random telephone numbers - no strings - could you send them the cash, to what address?
People are so greedy that they will tell you!!
Remember that story of a stolen mobile phone? The owner rang the phone up and told the thief that the owner of the phone had won £1000 and was he the owner? He said yes, they arranged to meet him at a hotel to hand over the money ..... he turned up and showed the phone as proof that he was the winner!!! Brilliant!!

Before anyone goes posting addresses, shouldn't we know what this is about?
I mean, if apples has got the number from a classified ad for a Porsche or something, who's to say he's not going to find the address and then go and nick it?

If you've been harrassed by somebody, and they didn't withold their number, why not just pass it onto the police? WTF are you going to do if you get his address? Go round there and beat the guy up?

I remember seeing the UK phone disk available for free on a magazine coverdisc a while ago. If not, buy one and there were previously cracks available which allowed you to do reverse lookup. I'm not sure about reverse lookup being illegal altho this would explain why you cannot do this as standard with the phonedisc.
hope i've been of help
ps - might be worth checking on the net / kazaa or phonedisc cracks and then seeing what's available before getting the correct version.

Apples,
I have removed the full phone number from your post! Regardless of what may or may not have been done from that number it is not for you to go publicly posting someone elses contact details on a public forum.
If you have indeed been harrased by this number then contact the Police.

apples, I would suggest you've got two courses of action here:
1. Phone the guy up, and tell him to get lost.
2. Speak to the police.
I can't believe that anyone would be stupid enough to seriously hassle somebody over the phone without witholding their number, unless the recipient of the unwanted attention knew who they were anyway...

Langy, it's damn-nigh impossible to trace a mobile, as the chances are it's a PAYG phone which means that there doesn't necessarily have to be registration details with the number. Again, if you have a valid & serious reason to contact the owner of the phone, the police will be happy to help if you make a complaint.

Tried police, about as much use as kneeling down and praying for lightning to stike the said person on the head i'm afraid
I don't even plan to 'visit' the person either, just a name would do. All i would do is send their name via text and as soon as they realised that i knew who it is they would a) wonder how on earth i knew then probably b) **** themselves
Either of the above has ample revenge satisfaction to me, besides, i think i know who it is, would just love to know as it is bugging me big time
On that note, i understand about the PAYG, etc and have now decided as they always seem to know where i am when i'm out at the pubg, etc to keep calling it while looking about to see who looks at/answers their phone. Sad i know, but would like this resolved asap

Langy:
You can however talk to the network provider of the mobile telephone and complain.
I had some idiot who managed to divert their mobile phone to my house phone, and Vodafone sorted it out for me.
Apples:
My wife was being harassed by telephone, and both BT and the police took it seriously. They provided a special number to call after each call and this log can be used as evidence. Even if the number is with-held they will trace it.

Cheers boxst, will give that a go too, having said that, they are on O2 so the customer service line is 50p a minute
May just try and find a way to spam them with 1000+ text messages a day
