I recently took out insurance via a broker that started 1/7/03. Now I am being messed about by the broker so wish to terminate and move somewhere else.

Can I cancel within x days and suffer no penalty in a similar way to buying a financial product ? Can the broker still charge me cancellation charges and admin charges ?
I used my credit card to pay for the insurance so again can I tell the credit card company that I wish to terminate my insurance and again suffer no penalty ?

I believe you get a 14 day money back with most insurance brokers. my sister did it after a car hypermarket switched the car she was buying to another one.
