Take a look at pages 22-23 in today's Daily Mail. You won't believe your eyes. Some of the stupidest locations for speed cams and police vehicles you'll ever encounter.
What's up with them? don't they have enough alternative villains to catch these days ?

One word, remuneration.
They get nothing back from catching real criminals, and it's dangerous, someone might get hurt.
Ooh, claims direct anyone!

Absolutely.
Our local rag has started running a weekly column entitled "Dealt with by the courts". It's an eye-opener
Out of 24 people dealt with, and reported on, last week, 5 were for motoring relaterd offences, (speeding, no tax, no insurance, other than in accordance, etc), and not all at once, and they all got fines averaging £250, some got points too.
Of the other 19 fekkers, most were in breach of conmmunity service orders, and some had other offences, (recieving, burglary, theft, assault etc at the same time), and none got more than a £60 fine and continuation
The motorist is the Pariah of the 21st century. Get used to it, it's not gonna change any time soon, but when the backlash comes, I'm gonna be in the first rank..................
