Hello

I am looking for a new contract for my wife's mobile phone.

She currently has "Time 400" from 02 and has had for four years. It's only £8.99 with 400 free off-time minutes.

But for the last few months she has used (literally) 4 of those free minutes! And about £6-8 on calls / text messages.

So I'm looking for something that has anytime minutes or text messages included. Preferably the free minutes are allowed to be to O2 as that's the network I use.

All the good deals appear to have gone away!

Thanks for your help.

Steve.

Cool

There's plenty of X-net anytime deals around. Nip into Carphone Warehouse - they'll explain them all to you.

Hello MarkO

Mmmm. Not sure if that's a serious reply or not!

Thanks,

Steve.

The 02 online shop is the best place for free mins/free texts. if she wanted to keep her old handset and just buy a sim thats cheaper. I wouldn't buy a mobile contract from a shop anymore, the online deals are too good.
Hope that helps

Try getting O2 to offer her a modified contract if thats poss.Threatening to go to another provider often works wonders.

Thumbs up

Perfectly serious. I've got 250 minutes of free X-net talktime which I can use at any time of day with my Voda contract. Normally 32 quid a month, but at the moment I'm getting it half price.

It's only £8.99 with 400 free off-time minutes.

So how's that FREE then?

Go Virgin, no contract, no 'Free minutes' or in other words, no line rental.

Orange will also match the virgin "tariff". It's perfect for people who don't make too many calls. No line rental, no contract, but you still get an itemised bill for the calls you've made at the end of the month, with no faffing about with top-ups.
