They have suffered enough at the hands of saddam, imagine wiggling your 4rse under such a tyrant??!!
Let them in, give them a UK passport, let them have a quality house in the country (they need to be kept in the comfort they are used to!) and I think we should have a Scoobynet whip-round, say £10 each? to help get them off to a nice start?
I think its a wonderful way to spend the taxes I pay!!

In 1995, Raghad's and Rana's husbands defected from Iraq to Jordan. The brothers were debriefed by Western intelligence officials and reportedly disclosed secrets of Iraq's military and weapons programs.
They failed to gain the trust of Iraqi exiles, however, and returned to Baghdad with their families six months later on Saddam's promise that neither they nor their families would be harmed. They were shot down shortly after they arrived.

Do you get your news a day late or something? Last thing I heard (the day before yesterday) was that there was no question of the home office even considering their applications...applications which they haven't made anyway....

yep £10 for me too, the writing is on the wall.
the government are lilly livered do-gooders, which really upsets me.
i havent claimed a penny in my life, but i've paid (just like many of you) shed loads of tax.
i'm gonna go out now and find some kosovans(sp) to lob stones at.
