Restaurant ideas for stag do in windsor
#1
Hi All
My mate's getting married next month and for some stoopid reason he chose me as best man I have the job of booking somewhere for a meal (he chose harvester lol) so far the ideas are:
Some steak place which I've forgotten the name of and daren't ask again
Chicagos
& The weatherspoon opposite the castle
Does anyone know of any others that would be suitable for a small (about 10) group of p!ssed up guys to get dinner?
Thanks in advance
Paul

I can think of several but cant remember the bloody names!!!
La Tasca is pretty good - Spanish tapas place in the station.
Chicagos - last time I went in there it smelt like someone had thrown up in the air con system and the smell was recirculated all night . ugh.

There is a chinese just down from McDonalds on the high street that does all you can eat for about £15. Just order what dishes you want and they bring them to you. Very nice quality and bargain price.

Another vote for the Tapas at the station, or theres a small Greek restaurant that is bloody ace up near the castle. Its on the castle side of the road, opposite the hotel, near the Teddy Bear shop.
Cant remember the name.

I would say (went there on Sunday) that Don Beni is good but not excellent for the money.
The Mezedes at Latinos is outstanding and the food is very resonable.

If you want more of a party atmosphere and want to go to Don Beni then go to the one in Winkfield (opposite the Working Mans Club).
Its bigger and they have alot of parties there.
