.....In The Shortest Amount Of Time?
Still in shock as I come to terms with losing £7500.00 on a car that is just 5 months old
There ought to be a law against it

MY00 Impreza purchased for £21,309 and sold 22 months later for £12,650 which works out as a £8659 loss.
Never buying an expensive brand new car again as it is like setting fire to money.
All of you STi7 owners must be gutted when it comes to trade in time!

12k in 14 months on a Lotus Esprit V8SE 97. Then went on to lose 5k on a P1 in 8 months, 7.5k on a Ferrari 348ts
Cars are a waste of money which is now why I drive a golf, and am buying a second house and a helicopter. Enough said...

Chopper, dont do it !
Helicopters are the only way nature has devised to keep the numbers of rich people down as they have no natrual predators, therefore private helicopters are employed for this purpose, every few months you hear of one landing in a field in bits following the owner not realising that between two pylons several thick pieces of electified cable are strung !

tony you are absolutely right, there ought to be a law against buying a Fiat Stilo.....
They can't give the bloody things away, that's why you get £2000 discount on the cheapest versions, let alone the Abarth. Its practically the worst car in terms of depreciation on the market, you'll be lucky to get 50% back after a year, so by the sounds of it you did about average.

Too true mate. If it had been a proper manual transmission though I would have kept it, but the Selespeed is so annoying

My boss paid about £30k for a Jeep Grand Cherokee, got bored of it in 9 months and traded it in for £16k
My company Lexus cost £22,500 and it got sold for £9k 3 years later which is a hefty loss on a so called luxury car, IMHO.
Edited to add: Ironically, my boss has more recently bought another Grand Cherokee, used this time, for £18k. I'll buy it off him in a months time for £2.50 at this rate
