Anyone see that advert for some Vauxhall thing,where the cars splits in 2?

I'm not easily offended or some kind of weirdo killjoy, but does nyone think that advert is a little "inappropriate"? It shows the back half of the car with 2 young boys in it, and they pick up a pretty girl (in her 20's?) with a little flirting.

Either way, it's a stupid advert, buy a Vauxhall, it splits in half

I was more worried about the image of the 10 year old boys picking up the 20 year old woman in it

I have to say, I did raise an eyebrow at the idea of 2 10-y-o's picking up a young woman. If it'd been girls picking up a lad, I suspect it wouldn't have got past the ASA...

We could submit a few complaints through the ITC and get it banned.

Indeed, the advert has now changed. They've lost the backing vocals, describing the car (sounded like "bank".. ) and now she is the babysitter, rather than a random girl they picked up off the street....

I remember some years ago, Renault showed a Megane advert only once before realising their mistake. It was for the Megane Saloon and went something like - "This Megane has something that no other has.... a boot!" - OOPS!
