My Godmother's son has just written the software for the Sony Ericsson P800 for Traffic-I (GPRS map thingy)......
It's already been reviewed in the Times (I think) - waddya reckon? Is it a go-er?
I think it's quite a good idea, but my only reservation is that obviously, whilst driving, you can't use the phone/screen
I think is does quote directions to you, to get round this.....
Just out of interest, would people buy it?

Hi mate
It's pretty neat but as you say, it's no replacement for 5x5" screen mounted on your dashboard with the same information on it.
I don't have a GPRS connection so I'm doing mine off dial-up at the moment which works fine.
Recommend it? Yes, I think so. £39 a year isn't a huge amount of money and it does provide up-to-date info but trying to look at the screen in the fast lane of the motorway probably isn't the way forward.
Cheers
