Controling the cable box from bed - Zzzz
#1
Has anyone hooked up a way to control a living room Telewest (Pace) Cable box from the bedroom? I know how to do this with SKY boxes and a ‘Magic eye’ carrying signal down the coax an' all that, but don’t think Telewest support this handy function at all.
Anyone done it as the pic from the setop aerial upstairs is baaaaaaaddd!

One of these may do what you want Remote Extender . I thought about doing this along with a wireless video sender so I could watch cable in bed Works out quite expensive though Telewest boxes typically don't use normal infa-red remote control frequncies hence only a limited amount of this type of equipment works with them. Never ordered anything from the company in the link so can't comment regarding customer service etc.

Cheers Graz - this is why my home cinema 'learning' remote failed to learn the cable codes.... Cost me absolute HOURS that one and NO it seems I didn't FAIL after all ! Cheers.
