FASTER MIKE!!

just watched the above and was a litle disapointed. don`t know what all the fus was about, being banned for 30 years. yes the story is quite graphic but not a lot of gore, which is what i expected. i suppose alot was left to the imagination.
anyone else seen this film? what did you make of it

Just read on IMDB that it was banned for 30 years in the uk , i was a bit sceptical, as I am 34 and I remember watching it shortly after we first got our video, I was still at school, but I was a lot older than 4

my mistake was first released 30 years ago been banned since 1984 under the nastys thing. rereleased today with 15secs of cuts, which are shown on the extra disc in a still frame thing. not that grusom either

no probs, IMDB list it as being banned for 30 years too, which would make it the release year, thats why I was puzzled

tbh I watched pretty much all of the films that later got banned, i was around 15-16 years old then too, none of them back then were worthy of being banned, but then this was also the time they banned Relax by FGTH

the video nastys that i`ve seen(which is about half of them) not all of them where that bad with the exception of cannibal holacaust(which has now been relased with about 3min of cuts ) ferox and new york ripper. alot of them have very dodgy special fx's and terrabley over dubed with a little animal crulty thown in.

hehe, even Cannibal Holocaust wasnt that bad even without the cuts

the thing with canibal holocaust is the way its filmed, more like a documentery. the animals were real though
