I still think it is wrong to require you to sign so that you can be convicted. I say that the onus of proving who was driving falls on the authorities.

61 mph in a 40 = £350 fine
thats a bit harsh isnt it?

I expect £350 is only 1 hours pay
Equivalent to a £10 fine for me, which sounds fair.
