Road Angel

I've just been investigating these products and think that the Road Angel one is the best.
I've always been a bit sceptical about these devices and any advise from users would be appriciated.
Cheers

I'll add a comment, as I've recently bought one and have absolutely nothing but praise for both the unit and the customer support / technical service behind it.
When I bought my RA, a week or so ago, I realised that it wasn't the latest software (as it was missing a few features). A quick email to customer service resulted in a very quick reply, telling me that they could upgrade the sw for 20 quid plus postage. After explaining to them in a subsequent mail that the unit was brand new, etc. they offered to sort it all out FOC if I simply mailed the RA back to them.
Sent it back on Monday this week, had an email on Tuesday am to say they had it and had upgraded it, got it back first thing yesterday morning - exactly as promised.
I'd advise anyone to get one. They unit itself is great and proves a very useful addition to my Bel550, and the customer service is exemplary.
There was mention of another clubs group buy on the latest RA at 310 quid, all in, which seems like a cracking deal.
Do it......

Blackspot volume and RescueLoc were missing - even though it was one shipped with the laser pod thing.
Now on latest firmware, and all features present and correct.
Again, big thumbs up to Black Spot Interactive customer service for the help and 'extra mile' service they gave me.

i got mine 2 weeks ago and it had mobile locations that were removed before xmas - i'm hoping the adding is better than the taking away
I posted these questions to them a week ago ... no answer
1. How often do you do a review of old positions and delete them ?
2. I assume new positions are added quicker then old ones being deleted ?
3. When I delete these old locations using the delete button (and blackspots)
do they get reinstalled the next time i synchronise ?
4. How do you get informed of new locations ?
5. How often is your database updated; daily, weekly ?
- mark.
