Anyone got any of the 'Street Sounds' albums?
Back in the mid-80s there was a whole series of albums with all the breakdancing/hip-hop tracks on. You know, stuff like 'Jam On It', Kraftwerk's 'Tour De France', Dougie Fresh & The Get Fresh Crew's 'Six Minutes' and a whole load of other stuff.
I'd love to get hold of copies of all of these again. Anyone got them? Are they available on CD?

There was a thread a couple of weeks ago about this, and myself and a few others ended up buying a CD from a guy on ebay. It contained about 15 old Streetsounds and Electro albums on it. I've only listened to a few, but they're excellent (and virtually unobtainable anywhere!).

Oh, and before somebody jumps on his high horse and starts harping about piracy, nobody can tell me that the guy on eBay is selling these albums legally with licences....
No high horse, the guy on eBay is eBay's lookout - you are SN's

Is 'The Wave Craze' on any of these?
The one with the lyric "All the pearls in the World, Could never make me love another greasey haired girl, In the Wave Craze...."

That c.d has Fresh 86 on it. I went to that, Will Smith was there with about 20 other old school artists. Also went to Freestyle 85 which was a real underground gig. Met the Chrome Angels from France amongst others, real heroes of mine at the time because I was heavily into the Graffiti thang
How do I get hold of that c.d then?
