I'm off on my annual hols in a few weeks to France

I need to buy some car breakdown insurance 'cos I'm nervous.

Does anybody have any recommendations of what to buy. Either what's cheap, or good/bad experiences when claiming.

Do you have any cover atm.I know some of them will extend to Europe for a small fee.

AA 5-Star is hard to beat although probably not the cheapest.

Another vote for AA 5-Star, fantastic when I used them. Paid for 1 weeks cover only, got about £1500 of benefits when my mate crashed the car in Paris. Hire car to continue the journey, tow trucks for the car from Paris to Calais and Dover to Birmingham.
