It lightens your wallet very effectively.
Chris is right - it's like vitamins, nobody except people with a medical deficiency need to take this sort of stuff, but there's a lot of placebo effect in them - it makes people feel good, and on a sadder note, makes some people kid themselves they're doing a little bit towards "healthy eating". Or in other words, an excuse to carry on eating all the other junk they would in any case...

But I do concur with the notion that it does a big fat zero.
As for vits, well, I'm taking copious ammounts of Vit C and Centrum, as I'm a fat lazy sod, blinded by the fact it might help!

Does Actimel do anything?
When I was in 6th form a mate of mine went and bought a 12 pack. He isn't known for doing anything by half and when the first one did have an instant effect he promptly downed the remaining 11 bottles!
He was er........ rather ill!
