Who made the famous Bugatti remark?
If you don't know what I'm talking about, it was (I think) an
Oxbridge professor who bought a vintage Bugatti. He replaced the
head gasket with a piece of old vellum or parchment so that when
people asked him how old the car was he could reply "Parts of it
go back to the 14th century".
