I live in Poole and offered to take my Bro and his wife to Gatwick for their flight today. Got up there no problem... getting back was harder.

I came to a junction giving 3 different routes and lost it... ended up going through Croyden and nearly to the centre of London.

Called my hubby on the handsfree and two black girls in a beat up Golf GTi started screaming at me that they were gonna smash my face in LOL. I think they thought I was shouting obscenties at them when in reality I was reeling off road names to my hubby sat at my PC with AutoRoute up

An hour out of my way I was finally on the M3. Not a policeman in sight and a nice 100mph, fast lane, ride home.

I secretly enjoyed the time on my own with my music blaring and leaving everyone else behind as I hurtled along

Just needed to get that off my chest... sat here now with a nice glass of chilled Chennin Blanc before I head to bed
