While it happened quite a while ago.
Was coming home from French Horn meet on the 9th April and accidently took the wrong turning and ended up going anti-clockwise on the M25.
Just hit over a tonne just before J15 and then suddenly Flash, Flash I spotted on my wing mirrors. Oh $hit! I thought.
I couldnt see any cameras but was told they are hidden under bridges and sign posts and I only noticed white markings on the road. Felt miserable for the entire night.
The question is how long do I have to wait for the big penalty?
Probably a ban Im looking at. Its been 14 days now I've received nothing yet. How many more days do I have to wait??

15 days.
If it was a single flash then you are probably lucky. I think that there is only film in the camera when you get a double flash. It takes 2 pictures and measures the distance travelled between them to calculate your speed.
I bet you drove slow for the rest of the night so it served it's purpose.
Edited for poor grammar......

Don't stress about it, you can't change it now even if you have been caught, so worrying will not help.
For what it's worth, I've been double-flashed by an M25 gantry camera and I didn't get an NIP. You may be lucky.

The NIP must be sent within 14 days of the offence, (although whether that is 14 working days is unclear). To proceed with action the police must only prove it was sent, they do not have to prove you received it. There have been cases of people being prosecuted even when they did not receive an NIP, (because they had moved and not informed the relevant people, or whatever). So, it is possible, although unusual, to be prosecuted even if you do not receive an NIP within 14 working days plus a few to allow for the post.
That said, if you haven't received an NIP within 16 or 17 working days of the offence, you're probably ok.
Like I said, I have been double-flashed by one of these cameras and I did not get an NIP.
