5/16 UNF 24tpi 2D (ie 5/8 long)
Can't find anywhere to buy them. Any ideas?
..or I'll donate a quid to charity if anyone can send me one
..or will swap for a pair of orange side repeaters for a classic Impreza

You don't say where your from, Popes are in Stockport - ask for martin - I'm pretty sure they do them.

FYI - found a FAQ at www.helicoil.com that says you can 'piggy back' them into the same hole to increase the length. So I don't need a 2D one after all. Thanks anyway.
BTW, I can't find anything that tells me which way up they go in the hole during fitting. I assume the tang end goes in first 'cos that allows the coil to narrow and go into the thread easily.
Anyone know?
