I am looking to rent a static caravan for a week some time in May. We are looking at Scotland, the lakes etc. Probably no more than 200 miles from Glasgow.
Does anyone know of any good websites where people who rent static caravans advertise. Has anyone done this before and can recomend a van or campsite.

Theres a Haven (I think) site in Ayr that rents out static vans. Good site when I was there a few years ago.

Try castlerigg hall in Keswick.

I was there a few weeks ago (in a tent not a plastic box!!) but it is a lovely site with shop/cafe/pub and keswick only about 20 minutes walk.

They have a website for on line booking but I cant remember the address. Try searching yahoo or similar.

Scooby-Doo, I work down in Ayrshire.

Kev, If you go to the site direct they charge twice the price. I was really looking for owners whe rent out their van when not using them.
