Best Place To Buy a TV From ?
#1
I'm after a 32 inch flat screen TV, and want to spend between £600 and £900 on one.
Had a look in the usual high street stores and saw some good deals (eg a Panasonic one for £600 in Comet)
It doesn't come with a 100 hz picture though, which leads me to my next question - is there a great deal of difference in 50 hz and 100 hz TV's ?
Is there any good websites out there where I should be looking ? All replies appreciated.
Thanks
Matt

I got mine from 24-7 Electrical after scouring lots of places. Actually eneded up with a 32" LG TV which I'm really pleased with

Some advice - when you order (from anywhere, especially the Internet) make sure it comes with the stand if that's what you expect. Sometimes it's in the pictures but is not stated.

I bought mine from CostCo and got a 3 year warranty thrown in FOC. It also worked out the cheapest for what I wanted and they do a no quibble refund during that time as well, which is great if you want to upgrade to the newest models

Empire Direct and Sound and Vision in Bolton will offer you a good deal. I have used both and the service has been good.
As far as I'm concerned a 100Hz TV is the one to go for. Easier on your eyes, due to less flicker with double the refresh rate.
Look on pricerunner.com for the TV you choose and they will advise the best price for that model. The Panasonic PH40 is available for around £849 on-line, a great buy, even if it is now a 12 month old model.
Hope this helps.

Got mine on-line from QED - good prices and stock. Went for 50hz 32 inch Philips though - don't like the 100hz, pictures looks kinda 'ghosted' to me, sort of blurry - maybe my eyes!!
