If I were you I would watch out for Laser/Radar Traps down the A303 especially around Thruxton and Stone hendge
Never seen a copper on the A34 but they do have themBlue Cameras at the side of the road that are meant to catch you but havnt heard of anyone being caught by any yet!!!

There are quite a few speed cameras in the Torquay area too. Going west on the A303 there is a snacks cafe not too long after Stonehenge on the left. It is after a long downhill stretch and is on a short section of the old road. I can really recommend their bacon sanies, and they do a good cup of tea too. Plenty of room to stop. Its about 90 miles before Torquay
