Any clues??? Bought the "Recruit" today. Only comes out in B&W .machine ok...... Can these discs do this sometimes??? never had this before.

i had this problem with Schindler's list....

Is your DVD player SCARTED? If not, it needs to be, also, if your TV is modern enough it should be able to flick between PAL and NTSC, but you may need to do it through the control menu. If it's an older TV, you're buggered.

Copied discs on my PS2 were like this until I SCART'ed it properly.

Definately sounds like NTSC output.

I had this problem on my new dvd player but all I had to do was change the video mode from RGB to video and it came up in colour.

Not sure if it will help you though.

Is it a S-video -> Scart cable or vice versa ? I've heard of people having problems with that too. Needs to be scart -> scart or svideo -> svideo.

What region is the disc? If it's a region 1/3 then is your TV NTSC compliant.

P.S moved to NSR as this'll get a wider audience. Also any issue is with the supplier, not SN.
