how do I upload piccies to nokia mobiles?

am trying to upload a 30k jpg file to my 7210 via infrared port on laptop but it wont let me, something about data not being recognised.
Anyone know if it nees to be in a certain format?
if so, I dont have the acility to change it to that format so if someone feels like being generous, then email me your address!

Easiest way i have found is to upload it to an uploader then right click --> properties....type the full URL into your phones broswer then it will display it and you can save it.
Works all the time for me(including animations)
