Note to self and druddle - do not buy French cars. I have had two. They have both been ****e. Current one is a 4 yo Pug 106 with 18k on the clock. We have had it from new. Serviced by Pug once a year as the service interval is supposed to bo 20k. In the past six months the exhaust rotted through and fell off, ALL the slave cylinders packed up and started leaking - failed MOT on emissions test - turned out cat had also practically rotted away inside. I am beginning to suspect it is made of paper mache. The other one was a renault 11 which came from the factory with a blown head gasket and timing that was about 30 degrees out

Not all French cars are poo.
I've got a beige (OK, Aztec Gold) Pug 306 1.4XL with beige interior, 75k miles, never service it, never wash it. It never misses a beat and I can park it anywhere. It costs me £180 a year insurance with all the extras. Oh, and I bought it for £1 from the missus*
Cheers
