Any Kung Fu exponents on here, I am having my first lesson on Monday seeing as my seven year old is doing it and I dont want him to kick my **** by the time he's eight !
He already tries the move but I pointed out that if he does bring me over sixteen stone may just land on him....
Any Tips ?

Plenty of stretching exercises to keep everything supple. And the golden rule as in any MA always spend enough time warming up before training & warming down after.
Oh & when your hips start clicking,as in my case, time to acknowledge that age is getting the better of you & call it a day.
Good luck & enjoy the spirit.

If you can wait till monday then Sipie might contribute as he did kung fu for a few years. He can do press-ups on the back of his hands, etc. When he's fannying around doing that I boot him in the teeth so he knows who's hardest
I recently took up Kuk Sool and its great. Martial arts are great for all types of fitness and make you feel great. Don't worry if you struggle to start with you'll get into it
