what day you going?

Im going there for an arrive and drive on saturday. They sent me a book of coupons and the expiry dates close.

Been there once before.

Tips - on the international circuit, The firstleft hand corner after the straight can be taken flat out but you need to (carefully) anchor on the brakes for the next right hand corner. quite alot of people take the corner slower then they can.
Its a good track. My fastest time there was 1:10.4 and I was told that was quick by one of the marshalls.

Dont take any valuables as this venue doesnt have any lockers.

Heres the track

its the longest straight. On the track (the link I posted) its the straight on the bottom left that runs nearly the whole way along the bottom.

Which track are you on?

Karts are good and quite fast. On the longest straight they say you can reach 60 mmph which is quick when your bumbs an inch of the floor, and is very quick when you take the first left after the straight. When I was there, my kart did break but they we're very quick at getting me into another one so I didnt lose any time.

Remember, when you first go out the tyres are cold and take a good few laps till they get warm. People often forget.

Ask for a back cushion is another tip, the seats are uncomfortable and without it you'll find a VERY big bruise the next day on your back.

Have you been karting before?

50 metres or so. May be longer. If you have your own then you'll be fine.

What type of karting do you do?

On sunday, are you racing thunderkarts or 400cc?

Ah not them things with lawn mower engines on!

I use to race 100cc 2 stroke Karts, when first went out in mine I went past them pro kart jobs half way up the straight (knowing they aint too slow) as if they were standing still at Rye House, I thought to my self then how quick must I be going?

Don't think they have the 100cc Kart there do they? Wanna get yourself in one if they do.

All good fun tho whatever your driving, have fun!!
