Evening all,

Just got a great new book, "The Rhythm Section" by Mark Burnell and I just cant put it down, definately the best thing I've read for ages, recommend it to anyone. Apparently being made into a film for release 2003 or so I've heard.

Any other bookworms out there in Scoobynet land?

Not really into fantasy, sci-fi or horror, but I love thrillers, comedy and Nick Hornby type stuff!

Patrica Cornwell is one of my favourite authors.

Some of my favourite books, that I would recommend are:

Airframe - Michael Crichton (Don't fly afterwards!)
Bad Memory - Duane Franklet (Thriller for the IT geeks!)
Are You Experienced? - William Sutcliffe (One for the people who have been travelling!)
Time For Bed - David Baddiel (One for the insomniacs!)

Might have to give The Rhythm Section and Timeline a go!

Andy

PS - Although I don't really like Sci-fi, I've just read Ender's Game by Orson Scott Card, and it's a stunning book! If you buy it, just read it and skip the introduction! The introduction gives too much away!

Michael Crichton (ignoring 5 patients)
John Grisham

Scoobynet has sort of cut into my reading time in the last year

No ShKidding, but I've been reading Harry Potter and it's pretty good. Nick a copy off your 12yo niece or nephew and have a read. There's some pretty cool stuff in there.
Now reading the 3rd book

Use to read loadsa' Anne Mc Caffrey! Brings back some memories. Raymond E Feist is superb, as is the Shannara series of books but I cannot remember the author!

Harry Potter is SUPERB! Cannot wait to see the film. I also enjoy thrillers with Ed McBain and Patricia Cornwell being excellent.

Unfortunately not much time anynore to read . I think I get too many mags - Evo, Car, Wallpaper, GQ etc!

Cheers,

Mossman
