Question

I need to ship a full body kit to California. Air sounds very expensive due to the overall size of the package, although it is not particulay heavey.
Was thinking of sending it by boat, anyone know anything about how to do this, how long, how much, will it need crating, any shipping company contacts?

Any hepl would be apreciated, Thanks, Rob.

Rob, Have you tried UPS?

The best thing to do is to ring around and bat the different shippers off against each other to get a good price.

Good luck.

try Parcel force as the work on weight not size though there will be a limit on the lenth. worth giving your local depot a ring and find out what the limits are they'll do both air and surface. my sti v6 rear spoiler came buy parcel force so that give you an idea of what lenths they'll except

hope this is of some help mike

The cheapest way is to contact a freight forwarder. They usually have much lower rates than the air couriers. They also handle bigger items better. Alternatively use the Post Office surface mail. Both will go via boat and take about 2-3 weeks to get to the states but MUCH cheaper.
